Image size is cut much smaller in android studio compared with file folder

I have an image(png) with below size(demension) in drawable folder of an Android Studio project.

• drawable-mdpi - 145x145 (6.5k)
• drawable-hdpi - 218x218 (11k)
• drawable-xhdpi - 290x290 (15.6k)
• drawable-xxhdpi - 435x435 (22.5k)

When I view they in Android Studio, they become

• mdpi - 40x40 (667b)
• hdpi - 60x60 (1.22k)
• xhdpi - 80x80 (1.63)
• xxhdpi - 120x120 (2.9k)

Q1: Why are they different in file system and Android Studio? Q2: How to resolve it?
