Create an application for android fitness band [on hold]

I am new to fitness band.. i want to create an android application for fitness band.I want to calculate heart rate, calories burn and step count etc. Is there any tutorials available to create app for fitness band.

How can i get the data from the fitness band to mobile device? How can i connect my device with fitness band?
