Read video in custom video player | Android

I am currently working on government critical data application. I need to play 4-5 videos in the app which is not visible in any of the folders and not available for the default video players to view or play.

Read few samples about VideoView of Android for creating custom video player. One approach i could think is by hosting it in a secure server and playing the video through VideoView.

But, once the url is available, anyone can view the video/download. Are there any other means by which we can embed the video in the app or play securely so that unauthorised access can be prevented.
