Database design for android social app

I want to make a social android application that will use to share residing places. . Its primary purpose is to facilitate the user in knowing where he has resided throughout his life in different time periods. Anyone who has been accepted by a user can see the profile of any other user.

This is my final year project. It will help old friends to know each other’s residing place. At the time of creating a new account users will asked to enter their school/college name and the batch. After registering the account the user will be suggested by the same school with the same batch that he entered. In this way my application will facilitate those users who are willing to find their old class mates.

After account creation users will be asked to maintain their profile in order that where they had been resided since their birth to maintain a location history in a timeline.

Now how i start with this, which database design should i use? Any suggestion ??
