Creating an NBA Schedule

I am creating a NBA GM app and this requires me to have a schedule of all 82 games for all 30 teams before each season starts. I have been mulling over this for hours and honestly have no clue how to effectively make a realistic schedule.

All 30 teams must have a schedule of 82 games, and each game holds an int for what team they are playing and an int (1 or 2) for if it is at home or on the road. It is tough because all the teams schedules must line up and each team must have 41 home games and 41 road games.

Someone might be able to think this through better than me. I was thinking it would need a 3-dimensional array but then I got confused. I have no idea how to store this (array, arraylist, etc).

How do I accomplish this? Any help is appreciated!
